Our family has been involved with Elspeth and Well Life Services (WLS) since January this year.

Elspeth is a wonderful support coordinator, she is a friendly, easy to talk to lady who is highly competent, knowledgeable and did a fabulous job getting the NDIS funding for my brother.

I have been a client of Well Life Services for about 3 years now and during this time Elspeth have help me to improve my health, wellbeing, emotional, healing my gut while living with the duplication syndrome. And then they helped us with NDIS and taking the next steps and finding great and amazing support workers for myself and they have been right beside us every step of the way.

My world changed, improved dramatically and help me to create my dream team. I have got out of my comfort zone, let other people in my life and to help me, I have done things that I thought I wouldn’t be able to do and achieving my goals that all of the specialists said I wouldn’t be able to do.

I have a 27yr old daughter who I am the primary carer for. We didn’t have a proper diagnosis till she was 18, when technology and science refined the genetic testing process for this condition. 7q11.23 duplication syndrome is very rare, and we had very little support for her or our family, until we made contact with Elspeth.

Being part of Well life Services has made so much difference to our life and to my daughters. They have navigated us through the NDIS process helped interview support workers. Elspeth helps with the complex diet requirements for her and guides us through the anxiety that is part of the condition. These are only a few of the things we need help with daily.

As a parent/career it’s a huge weight lifted off you when the support team are there for you. Now with the Coronavirus - 19 they are making sure my daughter has everything she needs to continue a healthy and happy lifestyle and that the support workers are cared for as well.
